In most of out guided adventures you will notice that there is a lot of flexibility in your choices of where to stay each night. These can range from a number of accommodation providers, to home stays, camping, tree platforms, and sleeping outside under the stars. To make it easier for you to choose we have provided a lot of information on the different accommodation choices here on the lodging pages.
Great care is taken by us when selecting which options to provide for you. This is because not just any place will do. We evaluate the cleanliness and service of each establishment at least every two years to make sure they meet your standards and ours. They also undergo our strict evaluation for Green Bug Adventures Ecotourism index. This evaluation allows us to take a number of different conditions into consideration and place the lodging provider into an index ranking based on how well they prescribe to our Ecotourism guidelines for our lodging providers. The questions that evaluate this address, environmental policies, working conditions, labor policies, interaction with the community, giving back to the community, cultural considerations, sustainability, and conservation. Below you can browse all of the lodging providers we work with by country. When you have found a tour you are interested in and are filling out the online interest form, you can make the different choices about lodging each night. Some nights have more choices than others due to where you will be. In rural areas there may only be one choice, or a choice between a home stay and a formal accommodation provider.
