In most of out guided adventures you will notice that there is a lot of flexibility in your choices of where to stay each night.  These choices can range from a number of accommodation providers, to home stays, camping, tree platforms, and sleeping outside under the stars.  To make it easier for you to choose we have provided a lot of information on the different accommodation choices here on the lodging pages.

Great care is taken by us when selecting which options to provide for you.  This is because not just any place will do.  We mainly focus on mid-range accommodations and evaluate the cleanliness and service of each establishment at which is usually done by the owner of Green Bug Adventures, Leif Ryman or one of our trusted partners to make sure they meet your standards and ours.

They also are surveyed with our Green Bug Adventures Eco-tourism rating system.  This evaluation allows us to take a number of different conditions into consideration and place the lodging provider into a ranking system based on how well they prescribe to our Eco-tourism guidelines for our lodging providers.  The questions that evaluate this address, environmental policies, working conditions, labor policies, interaction with the community, giving back to the community, cultural considerations, sustainability, and conservation.  To view the evaluation and to get a better understanding of how this system works, visit the Green Bug Adventures Eco-tourism ratings page.

Below you can browse all of the lodging providers we work with by country.  When you have found a tour you are interested in and are filling out the online interest form, you can make the different choices about lodging each night.  Some nights have more choices than others due to where you will be.  In rural areas there may only be one choice, or a choice between a home stay and a formal accommodation provider.  To learn more about each option, links are provided on the form for a short cut to read more about each of the options.
